Terms and Conditions

Variations & Cancellations

 

At AnglerPilot, we’re dedicated to providing safe, enjoyable, and memorable fishing trips.
However, sometimes unforeseen circumstances — such as bad weather or staff illness — mean we may need to change the location, date, or cancel a trip.

We reserve the right to make these changes at short notice, but we’ll always do our best to notify you as early as possible and offer suitable alternatives.

  • If AnglerPilot cancels a trip, we’ll work with you to reschedule.
    If rescheduling isn’t possible, you’ll receive a full refund of any payments made.

  • If you need to cancel, at least 48 hours’ notice is required — this includes illness or other unexpected factors.

  • Cancellations made within 48 hours or failure to attend will result in no refund or credit, especially for special events where costs have already been incurred.

If cancellation is due to a valid medical reason, please email a medical certificate to ryan@anglerpilot.no.
At our discretion, we may issue a refund (minus administration fees).

If we’re unable to reschedule a client-initiated cancellation, a refund minus a 10% admin fee will be automatically issued.
Credits must be applied to future bookings at the time of cancellation.

Please note: No refunds will be issued for changes to any aspect of a trip.

Event Cancellations

If AnglerPilot cancels or postpones an event, your payment will be:

  • Credited in full, or

  • Refunded minus a 3.5% processing fee (to cover financial costs).

If you cancel your attendance at an event (such as a day trip, weekend, or course), the following applies:

  • Cancelling within 14 days of the event results in a 70% refund (30% retained), unless you find a suitable replacement.

  • Replacements must meet the event’s fitness and age requirements, as approved by AnglerPilot.

  • If a credit or new booking cannot be arranged at the time of cancellation, a refund will be automatically processed.

  • No credits are held — refunds are processed upon written confirmation of cancellation.

It’s the client’s responsibility to rebook any future trips, events, or courses.

Payments

All bookings and payments must be made:

  • Online, or

  • Via direct bank transfer prior to your trip or event.

If you’d like to discuss alternative payment options, please contact us directly.

Minimum Age & Fitness

  • Children of all ages are welcome — they must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times.

  • Clients under 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

  • By booking, you confirm that you are 18 years or older, or accompanying a younger participant who meets requirements.

  • You are responsible for ensuring you are physically fit to take part in your trip.
    If you’re unsure, please contact us before booking.

By booking with AnglerPilot, you confirm that you are fit and healthy enough to participate safely.

AnglerPilot Liability

Participation in fishing and outdoor activities involves inherent risks, including potential injury or illness.
By booking a trip with AnglerPilot, you acknowledge and accept these risks.

You agree to release and hold harmless AnglerPilot, its staff, and contractors from any claims, losses, or damages (including those caused by negligence) that may arise during your participation.

Communication & Photography

Photos and videos may be taken during trips.
By joining us, you agree that AnglerPilot may use these for promotional purposes (such as our website, social media, or newsletters), unless you notify us in writing that you do not consent.
